Age 90 of Jackson passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2012. She was bornDecember 17, 1921 to Fred and Margaret (Schwickerath) Clark in Chelsea Michigan. She was employed in the offices at Walker Mfg. Lucille enjoyed roller skating, swimming, and ice skating. She was always "just one of the kids". If it was fun she was there. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by five daughters, Margaret (Everett) Horn of Rives Junction, Elizabeth (Don) Hudson of Portage, Laurie (Gregory) Leinbach of Saline, Joanne Wright Rogers of Jackson, Carol Wright Jonas of Grass Lake; nine grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, her husbandHoward W. Wright, her partner James Acker, three grandchildren, Dianne Horn, Bryan Hudson, and Michael Leinbach; three brothers, Louis Clark, Leo Clark and Raymond Clark; two sisters, Margaret Klavon and Eunice Kalmbach; and her sister in law and childhood friend,Eleanor Clark. She was a longtime member of the FOP and was the Sgt-At-Arms for many years. She was also a lifetime member of the Wolf Lake Yacht Club and a life long member of St John the Evangelist Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, at 1:00 p.m., Reverend James Shaver officiating,interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Allegiance Hospice, One Jackson Square, 4th Floor, Jackson, MI 49201.The family will receive friends at the WATSONFUNERAL CHAPEL, Sunday, 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 to 8:00p.m.
