Miss Elizabeth Wright Alexander, daughter of Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Alexander, entered into rest last Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at the home of her parents in Spring Hill, in the 21st year of her age. Deceased had been ill with typhoid fever, and her untimely death was a sad shock to her numerous friends. Kind-hearted, gentle and pure, she gained the love and admiration of all with whom she came in contact, and her death is made sadder by the fact that she was in the bloom of young womanhood, with the hopes and promises of a bright future before her. The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of everyone in their sore affliction, but God alone, in his all wise power and mercy, can give them comfort and heal their broken hearts. The funeral services were held in the Methodist church in Spring Hill Sunday morning at 10:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W. B. Taylor, assisted by Rev. T. A. Hardin, and the interment took placed in Spring Hill cemetery. -- Columbia Herald, 12 Aug. 1898.
