Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2008 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Clarence Dank, age 78, who died Tuesday at the Albany Area Hospital, Albany, MN. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Monday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring.

Clarence was born in Maple Lake, Minnesota to Bernard and Clara (Wessling) Dank. He attended Country School District #17 in rural Wakefield Town Ship, Stearns County. Clarence had been employed by Franklin Manufacturing in St. Cloud from 1959 to 1961. He began working on the Lawrence Gertken Farm in Cold Spring in 1962 where he continued to work for close to 20 years. Clarence resided at the Dale and Jane Rademacher home in Sauk Centre from 2000 until July 2006 when he moved into the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany.

Clarence had worked at WACOSA in Sauk Centre for several years. He will be remembered for always having a big smile on his face and a ready laugh. He was an easy going, gentle man, who liked animals and people.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Bernard (Bennie) Dank and Clara Mary (Wessling) Dank.
