LAMESA ~~ J. Homer Beal, 68, former Lubbock resident died Thursday in Medical Arts Hospital here.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the First Presbyterian Church.
A native of Cameron, Beal moved to Borden County with his parents shortly after his birth. The family moved to Lubbock County in 1898 and returned to Borden County in 1920.
He resided five miles south of Gail at the time of his death.
Officiating at the services will be the Reverend Walter Horn, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, the Reverend E. D. Landreth, pastor of the First Methodist Church and the Reverend Paul Crow of Lamesa.
Burial will be in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Home.
Survivors are his wife, Hattie Lou; two sons, J. H. Beal, Jr. of Lamesa and Bob Beal of Gail; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
