Claude Eugene Hicks, Jr., 48, of Lynn, died Saturday, July 20, 2013, along with his wife, Rhonda, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born at Hinton, W VA on May 2, 1965, the son of Claude E. and Sylvia (Aragon) Hicks. He was a graduate of Hagerstown High School and served with the National Guard. He was employed in the produce department of Meijer in Richmond.
Survivors include his parents, Claude E. and Sylvia Hicks of Union, SC; 2 sons, Clayton Hicks of Winchester and Joseph Hicks of Muncie; 2 grandchildren, Myles Hicks and Hailey Hicks; a brother, Herbert Hicks of Rock Hill, SC; 4 sisters, Peggy Sturm of Fort Mill, SC, Darlene Vuchak of Rock Hill, SC, Louise Gregory of Chester, SC and Theresa Williams of Carthage, NC.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 25, at Culberson
Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Pastor Larry Waters will officiate. Burial will be in Williamsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. Thursday.
