FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT DIES AT NEWARK, ILL.
Death of Mrs. Langum UnexpectedBody to be Brought Here
Relatives and friends here were shocked last evening by messages
announcing the death of Mrs. I.G. Langum, wife of Dr. I.G. Langum
and daughter of Captain Tostenson of this city. Mrs. Langums death
occurred yesterday and the news came unexpectedly to this city,
although relatives and friends had known that she had not been in
the best of health for some time past. The remains will be brought
to this city for interment, but arrangements have not been completed.
Mrs. Langum was born in this city Nov. 14, 1867. She is survived by
her husband at Newark, her aged father, Captain Tostenson and three
sisters, Mrs. Thos. Torrison of this city, Mrs. Nils Omstedt of
Stoughton, Wis., and Miss Charlotte Tostenson of St. Paul.
