On Nov 2, 2012 our sweet dad, grandfather and brother left our world for another during a peaceful night's sleep at the Idaho State Veterans Home in Pocatello, ID. Jack was born Feb 20, 1920 in Declo, ID, his home for most of his life. His love of land, community and sports were nurtured by farming, being the Declo Hornet's #1 fan, being a member of the Declo Lions and his many fishing excursions. Jack was married to Helen owens for 41 years and to Emma Jean Riefer for 15 years, both of whom preceded him in death. he also joins his parents, Cleve and Christy Adams; brother, Kenny; son, John; and daughter Kristee. Surviving are his sister Shirlee (Bob) Pollard; brother, Gale Adams; his children Russell Fisher, jackee Fairchild, Scott (Teresa) Adams, Cindy (Steve) Dal Soglio, Candee Jane (Will) Proctor and K.C. Adams; his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jack served in World War II eraning the Broze Star, Medal of Valor and the Purple Heart. Along with farming and his business "Jack's," he retired from the idaho State Department of Agriculture as an inspector. Funeral services will be Thursday with burial in Declo Cemetery.
