Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 1, from the Lange residence in Stockton. Pallbearers were John Luetje, Thomas Pepper, Fred Bargholz, Herman Berhiling, Adolph Duge, Claus Alberta, and M.C. Bohstedt. Burial was in the Durant Cemetery, Durant, Iowa.
Conrad Lange was born November 18, 1851, in Hanover, Germany, and came to the United States in 1882, and settled near Plainview. He married Mrs. Margaretha (Kruse) Siems on November 28, 1893, in Davenport. Together they farmed near Stockton, until they retired and moved to Stockton.
Surviving are his wife, Margaretha; two sons, Henry and Herbert Lange; one daughter, Martha Lange; two step-sons, William and Charles Siems, all of Stockton; and four step-daughters, Laura (Louis) Kook of Center Grove, Emma Miller of Bennett, Meta (Arthur) Kistenmacher of Wilton and Clara (Albert) Ruhser of Stockton.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
