Marian Francis Southwick, 85, Excelsior Springs, died March 21, 1992, at the Excelsior Springs Medical Center. She was a lifelong Excelsior Springs resident. Mrs. Southwick formerly was a seamstress. She was a member of the old New Garden Baptist Church, Excelsior Springs. A sister, Adina Thompson, died Jan. 3, 1992. Survivors include her husband, Orville Southwick, Sunrise Beach, Mo.; a daughter, Beverly D. Geary, Richmond; a brother, Mose Craven, and three sisters, Ruth Hurt, Bernice Wollard and Emma Dale, all of Excelsior Springs; and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs. Friends may call from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the Snow Chapel, Excelsior Springs. The family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
