Harry was the son of Christian Boje and Louise Fetzer. He married Margaret Berns on 17 April 1907 in Grant Twp., Carroll county, Iowa. They were the parents of Esther and Leona.

Sept 17, 1955 - Carroll Daily Times - Lidderdale - Harry F.W. Boje, 75, died of a stroke at his home here at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16. He had been a resident of the Lidderdale community 34 years.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Huffman Funeral Home in Carroll and 2 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church here. The Rev. N.A. Hanneman will officiate. Burial will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. The body is resting at the funeral home in Carroll until ihe time of the rites.

Mr. Boje, born Feb. 10, 1880, at Joliet, Illinois, came to Carroll Conty at the age of four years. He had lived in Lidderdale since his retirement from farming. He was married April 17, 1907, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Grant Township to Margaret Berns, who survives.

Also surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Esther) Breidert of Glidden. A daughter, Leona, in infancy. Mr. Boje was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
