Frances C. Street 84, Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2006. She was born December 2, 1922 in Cave City, Kentucky to the late Cancel and Maxie (Pennington) Compton. Frances worked as an insurance agent for 40 years, retiring in 1989 from Midstate Insurance Agency. She was active in the Euchre Club at Sahara Grotto and Jolly 12 Club. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 31 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., with funeral services following at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be Tuesday in Glasgow Cemetery in Glasgow, KY. Frances is survived by her grandchildren, John R., Kevin T. (Lori), and Julie A. Bradburn; great-grandchildren, Colleen F., Kelly A., Kate L. and Carl T. Bradburn; and sister, Thelma C. Redford. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Indiana Cancer Center Research Foundation, 6330 E. 75th. St., Suite 140, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
