Death of Mrs. Mary A. Bundy
Mrs. Mary A. Henby Bundy, a highly respected citizen of this community, a life long resident of Rush County, passed away at her home one-half mile west of here, Tuesday afternoon, at 4:00 o'clock. She had been in failing health for five years, but was taken seriously ill last week. She had suffered three strokes of paralysis during the past fall and winter.
She was born February 20, 1859, being 76 years of age. She was the widow of the late Amassa Bundy, whose death occurred October 29, 1923.
Mrs. Bundy is survived by five sons, Earl J., of Benton Harbor, Mich., Arl J., of Lawton, Okla., Ora of Ogden, Utah, Warren M. of Gary, Loren C., of Little Rock, Ark., and two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle McKinnon, of Oakland , Calif., and Mrs. Wilma Eubank, who lived with her. Eight grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Fletcher M. E. church this Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with the pastor, Rev. N. I. Schoolfield in charge, assisted by Rev. James R. Furbay, pastor of the local Friends church.
Interment will be made in the Asbury cemetery near Morristown. D. P. Dunn, Funeral director.
