Friends here were saddened to hear of the death of Mrs. Eva M. Glover. She passed away October 10 [1958] in the Lapeer hospital.
Rev. Samuel Bowman officiated at the funeral services head [held] Monday, Oct. 13 at Blackmore and Tubbs Funeral Chapel in Mayville. Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery, North Branch.
Mrs. Glover was born January 25, 1885 in Rich Township. She lived most of her life in North Branch, moving to Mayville in 1952. Her husband, Truman Glover, preceeded [preceded] her in death a few years ago.
Mrs. Glover leaves to mourn her passing three son[s], one daughter and two step-daughters; Wm A. Smith of New Baltimore, Michigan, E. Don Smith and Alan Smith, both of Mayville, Mrs. Stanley (Ernestine) Carlson of Lapeer, Mrs. Ray (Edith) Wilder and Mrs. Cecil (Ruth) Matthews of North Branch; one sister, Mrs. Herman (Gertrude) Hormel of Mayville; two brothers; Arthur Shippey of Silverwood and Lloyd Shippey of San Carlos, Calif.; nineteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews."
