Mrs. Mary Daraby, 75, of 1330 West River St., died at 6 p.m. yesterday in the Elyria Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness, Born in Hungary, March 24, 1890. She had been an Elyria resident for the past 38 years. Mrs. Daraby was a member of the Sacred Heart Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Rose Nagy and Julia Koler, both of Elyria, and Mrs. Margaret Mihuta, Lorain: Two sons, Nick, of Elyria and George, at home: three brothers, George Demeter, Tionesta, PA; Andrew Demeter, Harrow Ontario, Canada, John Demeter, Nova Scotia & a sister Rose Francia in Romania. 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends may call after 6 p.m. tomorrow in the Bittner-DeCarlo funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday from the funeral home and at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Julius M. Viglas, pastor will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery (Elyria).
