Ruby K. Gregory, age 84, New Castle resident passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29,2009 at Stone Brook Health Care Center.
She was born Oct. 10,1925 in Salt Lick, KY, a daughter of the late Arthur Sherman and Myrtle Harper.
Ruby was a New Castle resident most of her life. She was a homemaker, member of Smyrna Baptist Church and very involved with her family's activities. She also enjoyed bowling and shuffleboard.
She is survived by: husband, John Carl Gregory whom she married July 3,1944; 2 sons, Danny (wife: Connie) Gregory of New Castle and David (wife: Karen) Gregory of New Castle; grandchildren, Amy Gregory, Jason Gregory, Scott Gregory, Allen Kuhn, Vincent Kuhn, Tammy Adkins, Eric Conley, Landon M. Kuhn and Tate Gregory; also several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by, her parents and several sisters and brothers.
Visitation will be Sat., Jan. 2,2010 from 12-2p.m. at Macer-Hall Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sat., Jan. 2,2010 at 2:00 at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Delon officiating. Burial will follow at South Mound Cemetery.
