Catheryn was the daughter of John E. and Katie Bradberry. She was of the Methodist faith and attended church services at Plantation Nursing Facility in Winnsboro. She was a captain in the U.S. Army during WW II and fought in New Guinea, receiving two bronze stars. She was also a retired registered nurse in Lake Charles and in Fort Myers, FL.
She was survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Angus and Evelyn Bradberry of Houston, TX; daughter, Kathy Edwards of Ferriday; several nieces and nephews.
