Frances was born on July 28, 1920 to Robert Clifton and Thelma Margaret (Macklin) Warner in Clayton, DE. After attending Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School, she became secretary to the president of Atlas Powder Company in Wilmington, Delaware, where she met her husband to be, John Creedon, who worked in the same city for the DuPont Corporation. Frances was married to John James Creedon, and he preceded her in death. She worked as a legal secretary for many years
Survivors include her son, Michael Warner Creedon; three daughters, Diane Salmeri, Judith Creedon and Cynthia Orihel; ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
