Anna Phillips, 90, Pocahontas, died Sunday morning, May 13, at Pocahontas Manor. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (today) at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Pocahontas, with the Rev. William Loughmiller officiating. Burial will be in Summit Hill Cemetery in Pocahontas.

Survivors include daughters, Margaret Rude, Havelock, Grace Hoag, Humboldt, Ruth Miller, Versailles, KY, Imogene Schoon, Pocahontas; sons, Claude, Pierson, and Walt, Pocahontas; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; sisters, Talitha Hatch, Rockwell City, and Minnie Fullerton, Laurens; brother, Henry Pascal, Pocahontas.

Anna Pascal Phillips was born in 1900 near Pocahontas and educated in Lincoln Township Country School, then graduating from Pocahontas High School. She married A.J. Phillips. The couple settled and farmed west of Pocahontas all of their married life. He died in 1976. Anna continued to live on the farm until 1986, when she moved to the Pocahontas Manor.
