Obituary in The Chattanooga Times Free Press, May 16, 2000: "Charles E. "Charlie" Cobb, former owner of the Boat Mart on Highway 153 and owner of Realty Publishing, died Saturday, May 13, 2000, in a local hospital. He was 62. Mr. Cobb was a graduate of Central High School, a former Auburn University football player and a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Central Baptist Church, Red Bank Masonic Lodge 717 F&AM and the Alhambra Shrine. He was an avid fisherman and former president of the Chattanooga Bass Club. Survivors include his wife, Sonja K. Cobb; daughter, Carla Stutz, Hixson; son, Charles "Chuck" Cobb Jr., Ringgold, Ga.; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with Judge Clarence Shattuck and John Miles officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. A Masonic service will be held in the Chapel of Devotion at Hamilton Memorial Gardens...."
