CHALMERS HYSKELL
INDIANA--Chalmers Hyskell of 730 South street, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday from the effects of a heart attack suffered in his home at midnight Sunday.
A son of the late Dr. W.D. and Susan McClure Hyskell, he was born at Alexandria, Pa., on November 19, 1878. Following his marriage to Rachel M. Bloom, he established a home in Grampian where he was a Pennsylvania Railroad agent for a number of years.
His work then took him to Clearfield where he and his family resided until 1939 when they moved to Indiana.
Surviving are his widow and three daughters: Clementine, the wife of Evan Hitchings,
Constance and Gloria all of Indiana. An aunt, Mrs. Cora McClure of Petersburg, Pa., also survives.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. today (Wednesday) with Rev. Dr. Harry Boyd, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, of which he was a member, officiating.
Internment was made in the Oakland Cemetery."
