BRODBECKS – Samuel L. Runk, 86, Brodbecks RD 1, died Sunday, December 25, 1988, at his home. He was the husband of Grace V. Rinehart Runk.
Born in Manheim Township, he was the son of the late Greenberry L. and Sarah M. Albright Runk.
He was a member of St. Paul’s (Dubs) Lutheran Church, Hanover, and was a retired farmer.
Surviving are one daughter, Bertha J. Berwager of Hanover RD 1; four grandchildren; seven great-grandsons, and one brother, John H. Runk, 137 ½ Pleasant St., Hanover.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at W. V. Kenworthy Funeral Home, 269 Frederick St., Hanover, with the Rev. Robert M. White and the Rev. George K. Ludwig celebrants. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening.
