Entered into rest Saturday, January 14, 2006, Mr. Elmore M. Attaway, age 82, of Warrenville, beloved husband of Mrs. Lillian Woodward Attaway and son of the late Thomas M. Attaway and the late Berdie Holley Attaway.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Stewart Attaway and his wife, Babb Attaway, of North Augusta; two grandsons, Camron Attaway and Charles Attaway; a sister, Ida Mae Kohari of Hinesville, Ga.; and a brother, Gerald Attaway of Missouri. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Beth Attaway.
He was born in Greenville, S.C., but was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. He was a retired Sheet Metal Engineer from Owens-Corning Fiberglass in Aiken. He was a member of the First Baptist Church Of Gloverville in Gloverville, S.C. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served his county during World War II.
The interment will follow in the Graniteville Cemetery.
