James P. Ball, 68, Ceylon, Minn., resident, died yesterday at the home of Mrs. Walter Harder of Ceylon. He was born September 26, 1887 [1878], at Boone, Iowa. Ball was unmarried.
Survivors include sisters, Mrs. Hattie Rosburg, Mrs. Bessie Roburg, Mrs. Lynn Schenck, all of the Estherville vicinity, and Mrs. Jessie Sidles of Superior, Wis. Also brothers Ed and Frank Ball of Wisconsin and John Ball of Jackson, Minn.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Frank Rosburg home near Dunnell and at 2:30 at the Huntington Methodist church, Rev. C.L. Day officiating. Burial will be at Dolliver. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 27, 1946)
