Dimples, green eyes, and a smile that lit up the room – that is how anyone who met Kim, remembered Kim. Never having children of her own, she had a heart for babies, and babies responded to her whether they knew her or not. Christened "Mimi" by her cousin Brandon, she was Mimi to all children and Aunt Mimi to her nephews, who loved everything she did. Kim loved her family more than anything. Her frequent trips to Oklahoma to spend time with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins were some of her best times. She loved her parents with all of her heart and had a special bond with her sister that even death will not sever. Her love for her husband was known by all, and his tender care of her throughout her sickness illustrated the depths of his unwavering love for her. Kim will never be forgotten. Her precious, loving spirit and her ability to smile through her pain will be a legacy that lives on in all who knew her.
Visitation will be held today, Thursday, August 2, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Chapel, 2739 Panama Lane. A church service will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Truth Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church, 214 Hosking Ave.
