Barbara was born in Vincennes, Indiana, to parents William Albert and Grace Hetzel of Indiana. She is survived by her husband, Eddie Hedge, Sr.; son, Ragen Stacey; daughter, Shannon Stacey of Lake Tahoe; grandson, Keiffer Stacey; granddaughter, Sasha Purriett; and numerous relatives back East.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Southwest Memorial Park, 2739 Panama Lane.
