Thomas Killelea was a farmer in Lisnolan, County Mayo, Ireland. He married Mary Ann Hyland (1853-1917) and they had 10 children. Their daughters Maria {John Taylor}; Margaret T. married Patrick J. Killelea, and Marie all moved to South Bend, Indiana, USA and made their lives there. His daughter Rose became a nun and died in South Africa. His son John worked in England and was murdered in 1903 beaten to death. His son Patt went to claim the body and emotionally fell apart at seeing the horrid remains of his brother. Annie died at 1 month. Honor died at age 16. Thomas lived as a single man until age 98. Catherine (Kate) married James Mylott and they had a daughter Nan who married John McHugh with 5 children still in County Mayo, Ireland as of 2013.
