MRS. THRELKEL, LIFETIME RENO RESIDENT, DIES

Mrs. Josephine Miller Threlkel, a lifetime resident of Reno, died Tuesday in a local hospital.

Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Miller, longtime resident of Reno, she was educated in Reno schools and was married to J. E. Threlkel February 15, 1911. The Threlkels own the Reno Garage and the Threlkel Ball Park.

She is survived by her husband, J. E. Threlkel, Reno, a daughter, Mrs. Thelma T. Reynolds, Reno, a granddaughter, Mrs. Patricia Fenwick, Sparks, and two sisters, Mrs. Emilia DeBock, Reno, and Mrs. Ethel Bedolfe, New Castle, California. She was the aunt of the late John L. DeBock.

Friends are invited to attend funeral services Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the home chapel of the Ross-Burke Company. Burial will be in the Masonic Section of Mountain View Cemetery.

After Honeymoon Spent on Coast Couple Will Return to Reno to Live

Miss Josephine Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Miller of 119 Plaza Street, and Mr. John Threlkel, nephew of United States senator Nixon, were united in marriage Wednesday morning by the Rev. W. D. Trout of the Congregational Church, and left on the Limited for San Francisco where they will spend several weeks and will be at home at 119 Bell Street in this city.

The bride is a Reno young woman of charming personality and has always been a favorite in university as well as social circles.

She was attended by her sister, Miss Millie Miller, and was very sweet and pretty in her traveling gown of French gray broadcloth. She carried bride's roses.

The groom, who is proprietor of the Doris Garage, was attended by Mr. Leslie Hastings. Owing to the death of the groom's grandfather, Mr. John Nixon, the wedding was very simple, only the close relatives attending.

Mrs. M. J. Threlkel and Miss Ethel Threkel of Auburn, California, mother and sister of the groom, were in attendance, also Miss Grace Miller of Sacramento.

A sister of the bride was also present at the ceremony. Many beautiful presents were received, and from all sources the popular couple are showered with congratulations.
