Mrs. Leona G. DeAngelo - A native of Palestine, Arkansas, and a resident of Mobile for the past 55 years, died in a local hospital on Wednesday, November 2, 1994. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Wood of Semmes; one son Louis DeAngelo, Jr. of Niceville, Florida; two sisters, Peggy Kelley of Russelville, Alabama, and Judy Hicks Colfax, Louisiana; one brother, Layfette Jones of Nevada City, California; five grandchildren, Jerry Wood, Jr., Ronald Wood, Tracy Wood, Greg DeAngelo, and David DeAngelo; four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Friday, November 4, 1994 at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Crawford Baptist Church Building Fund. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street Extension, Mobile, AL.
