Stephen Robert Angus

Funeral services for Stephen Robert Angus, 96, of Bandcroft, Idaho, will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 6, at the Orland Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day [sic] Saints.
He died April 29, 1995 at Soda Springs, Idaho.
Mr. Angus was born August 13, 1898 in Lake Shore, Utah, to Henry O. and Atta Ruth Angus. He was raised and educated in Utah and attended Ricks College.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War I.
In 1927 he married Afton Parker, she preceded him in death in 1946. He married Irma Bihler in 1948, she preceded him in death in 1984.
Mr. Angus was a resident of the Orland area from 1935 to 1995 when he moved to Bancroft, Idaho. He enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He was a dairyman and orange grower in the Lake district [sic] of Orland. He was a past board member of the Lake School District, a member of the Orland Water Users and was active in the Guernsey Cattle Club.
He was also active in the LDS Church in Orland. He was a High Priest in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day [sic] Saints. He served three missions, two to California and one to Nauvoo, Ill. He had served as Bishop for 25 years and district president.
Mr. Angus is survived by a son, Robert Dale Angus of Bancroft, Idaho; a sister, Norma Aitken of Lewisville, Idaho; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, May 5 at the LDS Church in Orland. Burial will be in the Orland Masonic Cemetery.
