Carl Alva Ackerman was born the twin brother of Lyle Thomas Ackerman (F.A.G. ID: 113972658 ), on 30 Jun 1919, to Gerald Ackerman (28 Sep 1895-1990) and Gertrude Jennette Rose (16 Sep 1895-1981) South Maryburgh, Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. Lyle died just days from their first birthday of pneumonia, on 27 Jun 1920 in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. I the 1921 Census, Carl is their only child. No other records pop up for any other children, but when the 1931 census is released in 2023, it should give more answers on that.

Carl and Lyle were the 3rd cousins of my children.

Their father Gerald (F.A.G. ID 113972617 ) was my children's 2nd cousin. Married to Gertrude Jennette Rose (F.A.G. ID 113972642)

Gerald's mother Annie May Welbanks (F.A.G. ID: 113825238 ) was my children's 1st Cousin. She married George sills Ackerman (F.A.G. ID: 190910728) on 9 Mar 1892. Gerald was one of 3 children.

Annie May's father Thomas Welbanks III (F.A.G. ID: 114665521) was their 3rd great granduncle. He was born 11 May 1832 in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. He married Mary Wright (F.A.G. ID: 114665524) before 1860, as their first daughter was born September 1860. They had 7 children

Thomas Welbanks II (F.A.G. ID: 114724265) (my children's 5th great grandfather), the common ancestor between twins Carl and Lyle, and my children, as born 20 Oct 1798 in Marysburgh Township, Prince Edward County, in what was then known had recently become "The Canadas" to the British. He married Mary Margaret LaRue. I cannot find concrete proof on whether Thomas Welbanks II had any siblings. The father of Thomas Welbanks I may have been George A. Welbanks, born 1740 in Yorkshire, England, and died in 1800 in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Upper Canada, but also cannot find firm proof on that.
