Jacqueline Marie Stolley was born on November 8, 1948, in Davenport, a daughter of Otto and Lula (King) Stolley. Jackie received her doctorate in nursing and most recently was a professor at the Trinity School of Nursing.
She was an avid gardener and tireless devotee to the Democratic Party. Her love for her grandchildren was boundless. She was deeply interested in the ideas of equality, fairness, human rights, learning, and tolerance.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Amy Wine Stolley, and their children, Benton, Peter and Katharine; and her siblings, Mary Wilson, Linda (Roger) Warren, Patricia O?Brien, and Christine McMahon, all of Davenport, Debbie (Dave) McLanahan, Wichita, Kan., Edward (Barbara) Stolley, Davenport, Jack (Sandra) Stolley, Mansfield, Texas, and Gary (Barbara) Stolley, Coal Valley.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Muriel Arnold, and three brothers-in-law. May they rest in peace.
