Paul Brady Sussdorf was born on June 3, 1916 in New Braunfels, Texas, a son of the late Paul Frederick Sussdorf and Nellie Sue Brady.

Mr. Sussdorf was a 1933 graduate of Murphy High School in Mobile, Alabama, and served with the United States Army Air Corps during World War II as flight officer instructor, and also in North Africa. He flew a wide range of military aircraft, including the AT-6, P-39 Airacobra, P-40 Warhawk, P-51 Mustang, C-47 and B-25. He was awarded the American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal and European–African–Middle Eastern Campaign Medal. Following his service, he was employed with the Cloar Glass Company Inc., Harry's Ace Hardware and Woodward, Wight & Company, Ltd.

He is survived by nieces, Gloria Sue Walker Conlin, Christy Richards, Martha Kizer, Barbara Symms and Betsy Wagner.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marie Schnell Sussdorf, whom he married in Corsicana, Texas in 1942.
