Bessie Davis Still, 76, of 125 N. Cedar Dr., Cedar Lake, widow of W. M. "Buttermilk" Still Sr., died March 27, 1989 at her home.
Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Ollie Webster and Luct Eugenia Teddards Davis. She was a member of South Main Street Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star, Callie Self Chapter 199.
Surviving are two daughters, Blanche Still Cantrell of Blacksburg and Mrs. Charles F. (Deanie) Tatham Jr. with whom she made her home; a son, John David Still of Greenwood; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Frantz of Schnecksville, Pa. and Mrs. Marion Lawton of Greenwood; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren,
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Harley Funeral Home.
The family is at the home.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorials made to Hospice of Greenwood or the American Cancer Society.
