When Clifton Clair Weaver was born on May 31, 1876, in Freeport, Illinois, his father, George, was 26 and his mother, Anna, was 20. He married Charlotte Ann Milversted on June 29, 1899, in Belle Plaine, Iowa. They had two children during their marriage: Elmer and Margaret.

He died on August 22, 1952, in Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois,USA at the age of 76.
According to his death certificate the cause of death was "Status Epilepticus." He died at an institution, most likely a rest home, called the "Restorium" located at 2800 S Main St in Rocford, IL. He was there for 15 days. He was buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Mt Morris IL on August 25, 1952.
