Services celebrating the life of Mrs. Sheila L. Dupree will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 19, 2013 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Vivian, LA. Officiating will be Bishop John Kennedy. Interment will follow at Slaughter Cemetery in Rodessa, LA. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Sheila was born on September 30, 1938 and entered into rest on July 16, 2013 after a sudden illness. She was 74 years old. Sheila was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Dupree; father, William "Bill" Oliver Keener; two sons, Gene and Bobby Lee Dupree and her brother, Don Milton Keener.
Left to cherish her precious memory is her mother, Dorothy Keener of Zylks, LA; son, Billy Dee Dupree of Rodessa, LA; daughters, Patricia Cross and husband, Mike of Zylks, LA, Machelle Carter and husband, Norman of Vivian, LA; brother Ronnie Glen Keener and wife, Margaret of Trinity, TX; grandchildren, Josh Dupree, Kristen Entrekin and husband, Phil, Kayla Machelle Rhodes, Dustin Dupree, Shay Carter, Taylor Carter, Amber Smith and husband, Thomas, John Carter, Candice Festavan and husband, Lane. Sheila also has seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Sheila was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
Her presence will be missed by all the lives she touched while on this earth.
