Thelma Louise Adams Alcorn
Thelma Louise Adams Alcorn, age 88, of North East went to be with the Lord on Friday morning July 12, 2013 at Ball Pavilion.
She was born on October 11, 1924 in Erie, Pa. to the late Archie and Jessie Burt Adams.
Thelma was a member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C. Bernard Alcorn; a daughter, Judy Lynn Alcorn; a brother, David Adams; and a sister, Elsie Hadzega.
Thelma is survived by her daughter, Janet Lindsey (Dan); sons, Gerald Alcorn (Denise), Carlton Alcorn, Ronald Alcorn (Bonnie) all of North East, and James Alcorn (Judith) of New York City; a sister, Nancy Ayrault (Quentin) of North East; brothers, Neil Adams (Cleo) of Florida, and Dallas Adams (Roberta) of Ripley; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
With her son Jim and his dearest wife Judith, Thelma breathed her last breath and entered into the open arms of Jesus as if on the wings of an eagle.
Friends are invited to call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, North East on Tuesday 2-4 and 7:00 p.m. until time of a funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Officiating Rev. Marvin Hutchison.
Private interment Phillips Cemetery.
