Diane was the Home Coming Queen and a graduate of the class of 1972 from Orem High School. She loved children and adopted her three children from birth; Jesse, James, and Shandry. Diane was also a previous winner of the Miss Physical Fitness title for UT. And in keeping with her beliefs that purity is important, Diane created a gourmet jerky product that was unique and free of preservatives. With this product and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, she founded Wind River Jerky.
Diane is preceded in death by her father, Garn Baum. She is survived by her husband Bill; children Jesse, James and Shandry; mother Peggy; sister Kelly Vee (Jolley); brothers Rocky and Coly; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and life-long customers of Wind River Jerky.
Services will be held Wed, March 14, 2012 at Provo Parkway 3rd Ward Chapel, 2876 West 1390 North, Provo, Utah 84601. Viewing at 10:00 am and funeral at 11:00 am.
Internment at the Provo Cemetery.
