Rose Ann Hart DeGraffenreid, Galena, age 53 died on Saturday, September 24, 2005, following an illness.

Mrs. DeGraffenreid was born on November 13, 1951, in Miami, OK, the daughter of Roy and Dorthy [?Dorothy?] Hart. She was a homemaker. She was a Jehovah's Witness and enjoyed singing and playing the guitar.

She married James DeGraffenreid on December 29, 1991, and he survives.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Eva Christine Hart, and Patricia Louise Decow and her husband Ricky, one son Luke Young and his wife Betty, two stepsons Mike and Donnie DeGraffenreid, four stepdaughters, Jody Roher, Marilyn Schachtener, Gail Elliot, Donna Bowers, three brothers James Leroy Hart, John Andy Hart and Billy Jack Hart, six grandchildren, ?Richarky Jamesdale?, Alicia Rose, John Raymond Decow, Eric and Colton Cline, and Ashton Lucas Young.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Storey.

The body was taken for cremation. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 1 at the Jehovah's Witness Hall one mile east of Baxter Springs, Floyd Cox will officiate. A gathering of friends will immediately follow the service at the home of James DeGraffenreid.

Arrangements are under the direction of Mason Woodard Mortuary and Chapel Joplin, MO

This is NOT the obit I was after. It was not in the Joplin newspapers. They only had a number of Death Notices and Funeral Home Notices. to 1 October. It was in a local Kansas paper.
