Pat Elizabeth Berthier "Peb" Springstead a native and resident of New Roads, she passed away at 1:05 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Pointe Coupee General Hospital. She was 60 and Retired from Pointe Coupee General Hospital in New Roads as an X-Ray Tech with 35 years of service.
Visiting at St. Mary's Catholic Church of New Roads. Mass of Christian Burial in the church, conducted by Rev. Msgr. Robert Berggreen. Interment in False River Memorial Park.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Frank Springstead; one daughter, Kathryn Elizabeth "Katie" Springstead of New Roads; two sons and daughters-in-law Jason Springstead and wife Jennifer of Geismar and their daughters Devon and Natalie , Scott Springstead and wife Misty of New Roads and their daughters Mackenzie and Madelyn;
one sister and brother-in-law, Colette Jewell and husband Dan of New Roads; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul Berthier and wife Becki of Glynn, Louis Berthier and wife Michele of St. Francisville and Michael Berthier and wife Kris of New Roads;
and Nieces and nephews, Holden and Austin Jewell, Story Berthier, Sara Andre and husband Thomas and Patrick Berthier.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. "Pat" Berthier and Una G. Berthier.
Pallbearers are Dan, Holden and Austin Jewell, Patrick Berthier, Conday Smith, Steve Stelly and Walter Warr III.
