Daughter of Paul & Mildred H, Coles Carrington Jr. of "Sylvan Hill". An entry in the old "Mildendo" Bible as transcribed by Mrs. Maria Carrington Weems lists her nick name as "Nancy" and that she was baptized by the Rev. Samuel Craig. She was married 1st, 12/27,1810, to Dr. Charles Fontaine & lived with him at "Green's Folly". The property and home were a gift from her father on 4/7/1811. Dr. Fontaine died in 1818 and she sold the plantation to Granville Craddock. She was married 2nd, 10/17/1833, to William Booker Green-(12/30/1786-11/28/1869). The marriage was the second for both spouses. She lived with him & his children at "Greenwood" until her death.
