John Huddleston, who has been engaged in road contracting in this locality died at his home at 911 Junius avenue east Saturday, his death following a long illness. Mr Huddleston was 48 years 7 month and 10 days old at the tie of his death He cam here a year or more to take a contract for construction work on the Elizabeth Erhard road and during the past summer he has had the contract for the construction of three miles of the new Otter Tail lake road the three miles west of the lake. He is survived by his wife, three sons and one daughter Charles Edward Roy and Marjorie Huddleston. Although locating here only a comparatively short time ago he has made a great many friends who will be pained to learn of his death. The funeral was at the Home with Re J. Richman organ officiating and the remains were laid at rest in Mount Faith Cemetery. Death was due to complications which followed a sever attack of the flue two years a go. He leaves two brothers and one sister, Charles E. and Ward Huddleston, and Mrs Ermina Salisbury of Minneapolis. Mrs. Sailsbury came up to attend the funeral.
