Mrs. Anna L. Silveus, 90, a former resident of Waynesburg, died Sunday, July 25 at El Paso, Texas, after a long illness. She resided at El Paso for several years and died in the home of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Charles Silveus.

Mrs. Silveus, a daughter of Andrew Jackson Lippencott, was born July 14, 1875, in Greene County. She was the widow of George B. Silveus, who died in 1911, and was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

One of her sons, Victor, was killed in the Doweny House fire at Waynesburg in 1925. Her other son, Charles, also is deceased.

Surviving in addition to her daughter-in-law are a granddaughter, Mrs. Shirley S. Hill, of Houston, Texas, and three great-grandchildren.
