AYNOR | Wade Hampton Johnson, age 65, of Nichols Highway, died Sunday, October 31, 2004 at Marion County Medical Center. Mr. Johnson was born in Aynor, a son of the late Andrew and Lizzie Allen Johnson. He was a member of Happy Home Baptist Church and retired as a custodian from Aynor High School in 1994. Surviving are his wife, Winnie Lee Johnson, of Aynor; two sons, Robert Steve Johnson and his wife, Jeannie, and Andy Wade Johnson and his wife, Kristi, all of Aynor; two daughters, Wanda Jean Johnson of Aynor and Wendy Lynn Johnson of Chadbourn, N.C.; three brothers, Paul G. Johnson of Taos, New Mexico and twin brother, William G. Johnson of Aynor and Aubrey Johnson of Aynor and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, from Happy Home Baptist Church with the Rev. A.D. Grainger and the Rev. Kenneth Chatman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
