Olin served in our nation's military for over 20 years, (1943-45) in WWII. U.S. Army, (1956-57) Army National Guard, U.S. Coast Guard (1957-74). He was an expert rifleman and earned five Bronze stars.
He is survived by two brother-in-laws, Caroll Watts and wife, Pauline of Gasonia, NC and L.B. Watts and his wife, Martha of Belmont, NC; and one sister-in-law, Mozell Phillips of Cramerton, NC.
Olin was preceded in death by his loving wife, Eloise in 2010, and was a faithful member of the Seattle Baptist Church in Edmonds, WA.
