Mrs. Susan (Bennett) Imes

Mrs. Susan (Bennett) Imes, died at her home at Chanesyville, Pa., July 4. She was born January 24, 1859, at Chaneysville and was a daughter of the late David and Emaline (Tewell) Bennett and the wife of the late Amos Imes, whom she married in August of 1874. She was a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church.

Surviving are the following children: Daniel Imes, Mrs. William Johnson, Mrs. G. B. Gross, Mrs. William Fletcher, Mrs. Frank Robinette, and Mrs. Chris Mortzfeldt, all of Cumberland, and Mrs. John Ewig, Cessna, Pa.; Mrs. Bruce Colllins, Mrs. Moses Perdew, Artemas, Pa.; Mrs. Alex Means, Flintstone, and Abner Imes, at home; forty-one grandchildren, sixty-five great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.

Arthur Robinette, Earl Johnson, Cecil Perdew, and Marshall Fletcher, all grandsons, were pallbearers at the service which was held at the Mt. Zion church with Rev. Walter Twigg officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
