PLEASANTON---George Hart, step-son of Clara Hart and the late I. T. Hart died at his home in Ojai, Cal., March 11th(10th). Though he had been a resident of Calif. the past 40 years George grew up and went to school in this community. A painter by trade he lived in Santa Barbara until he retired 3 years ago. He had been in poor health the past few years.
Besides his wife, Ruth, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Norma Parker, of Ventura, Calif., (step)mother, Mrs. Clara Hart, Ravenna, one brother, Leslie Hart, Beaverton, Ore., and 3 sisters, Mrs. Beulah Cottrel, Salt Lake City, Utah, Mrs. Harriet Draper, Santa Barbara, Calif. and Mrs. Audrey Winkler, St. Paul, Minn.
(His first wife, Hazel Gilbert, died in 1931.)
