Margaret Boykin Glass, 85, of Marysville, passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Magnolia Hospital.
She was born June 21, 1928, to Azariah and Ada Catherine Knight Boykin in Winnsboro, La.
She was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband of 67 years, Cal Henry Glass; son, James "Buddy" Glass; brothers, Leroy Boykin and Leon Boykin; and sister, Pauline Best.
Survivors include her three daughters, Patsy Glass Antley (Kent) of Downsville, La., Nancy Phillips (Jeremy) of Woodbine, Ga., and Regina Simkins of Sahuarita, Ariz.; two sons, Jerry Glass (Debbie), and Terry Glass (Melissa) of Marysville; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Morris McKinnon.
Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Young's.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at Wyatt Baptist Church with the Rev. Adam Thomas, the Rev. Donny Hymer, and the Rev. Josh Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in Marysville Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
