Edward C. Hahnfeldt (son of August Hahnfeldt and Louise (Weide) Hahnfeldt, passed away in his home at Palatine after many weeks of severe illness. He was born in Arlington Heights on Aug 21, 1890. During the past 25 years, Mr. Hahnfeldt worked with the Otis Elevator Co, of Chicago. He was active in the Mason Lodge. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Emily Hahnfeldt, a son Edward Frank Hahnfeldt of Des Plaines, a daughter, Mrs. Grace Marie Goedke of Arlington Heights, a son Ens. Raymond C. Hahnfeldt, serving in the South Pacific; brothers, Arthur Hahnfeldt, August Hahnfeldt of Chicago and Elmer Hahnfeldt; sisters, Mrs. Lilly Becker and Mrs. Mary Baumgarten of Alrington Heights.
