KELSO, Mo. -- Richard Victor Arnzen, 74, of Kelso died Thursday, July 11, 2013, at home.

He was born March 5, 1939, in Leopold, Mo., son of William Joseph "Penny" and Julia J. Van De Ven Arnzen. He married Janet Enderle on April 29, 1961.

Arnzen was an alignment specialist 30 years at Harris Truck and Trailer. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, and member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles 3775 in Cape Girardeau.

He served in the Missouri National Guard.

Survivors include his loving wife, Janet Arnzen; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey D. and Yvonne "Vonnie" Arnzen of Kelso; two sisters, Judy Mayfield of Scopus, Mo., and Patty (Billy) Ricketts of Leopold; two sisters-in-law, Charlene Arnzen and Carole Arnzen of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Harold Arnzen of Jackson and Virgil (Valerie) Arnzen of Benton, Mo.; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James "Jim" Arnzen and Stephen Arnzen.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Augustine Church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Augustine Cemetery in Kelso.
