A native of Norfolk, she had been a resident of Virginia Beach for the past 37 years. She was the daughter of the late John ad Mrs. Ruth Virginia Belote.
Mrs. Barco was a member of the Virginia Beach Baptist Church, and of Chapter No. 75, Order of the Eastern Star.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Edward A. Barco and Robert L. Barco, both of Virginia Beach; a brother Vernon Belote, of Norfolk; and three grandchildren.
The body was taken to Maestas Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Virginia Beach Baptist Church by the pastor, the Rev. W. G. Bond. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
